ECP is focused on investing in concert with the nation's leading private equity firms and corporations in the energy and infrastructure technology, financial services, healthcare, and technology and media industries.

Middle Market Focus
ECP believes that superior growth opportunities are available in the middle market. We make co-investments alongside leading private equity firms and prominent strategic investors in companies with enterprise values of $20 million to $50 million. Selectively, we also may consider leading investments in companies falling below those valuation thresholds. A significant percentage of our invested capital comes from England & Company and its employees.

The majority of our investments are made in partnership with leading private equity firms that share our vision on growing businesses and creating value. In addition to capital, we work closely with our portfolio companies to provide on-going strategic advice and support.

Industries with Attractive Fundamentals
We have a disciplined, analytical approach to evaluating industries for investment. In general, we look for large, growing market opportunities where our portfolio companies can benefit from emerging structural changes.

Proven Business Models
We look for companies with unique business models that can provide them differentiation from their competitors. In all cases, we carefully analyze the future risk-adjusted cash flows and the unit economics of businesses to assess their ability to earn superior returns on invested capital.
