JD Friedland has over 25 years of investment banking, private equity, and corporate development experience in the healthcare industry. With a particular focus on the medical technology and digital health sectors, Mr. Friedland has worked on a wide variety of M&A transactions, as well as private equity investments and restructurings.
Prior to joining England & Company in 2017, Mr. Friedland was a Principal with Pulse Equity Partners, a healthcare private equity investor. Prior to joining Pulse, he served as Vice President of Corporate Development at Henry Schein, Inc., directing all business development activities in Medical and Practice Solutions segments
As an investment banker, Mr. Friedland was a founder and Senior Managing Director of MatchPoint Partners, and Managing Director and Head of U.S. Healthcare Investment Banking for Rothschild, Inc. Prior to this, he held senior positions in the Healthcare Groups at Lazard, Wasserstein Perella, Cowen & Company, and Kidder Peabody.
Mr. Friedland earned his BS in Business from the University of Southern California and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
